The Patcher is state-of-the-art equipment designed for partial repairs of roads, using grit and binder.
The concept behind the machine is to feed the working head with grit, binder and air, each through a separate hose. The grit is enclosed in emulsion, inside the head, and the created mixture is set under pressure into the existing defect, pothole or crack in the pavement.
| STAGE I: Cleaning of the defect in the pavement, using pressurised air that comes out of the working head. |
STAGE II: |
STAGE III: The air and binder mix is enriched with grit, which is enclosed into the binder and set into the defect at a very high speed. The filled defect is then covered with a thin layer of dry grit. |
The built-in oil burner enables the heating and maintaining the proper temperature of the binder inside the patcher's tank
